This morning, Bill and I had a nice conversation at breakfast, we talked about Christian spirituality. One most important in our spiritual life would be the Hope. He shared with me a saying he recently read from a book, Reconstructing Christianity in China: "Even if hopes cannot be realized, they are worth fighting for, because something can be accomplished in the process" (Bishop K. H. Ting)
Our hope is in Christ, and this will always lead us the way to God. "Let us be sober, and put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation." (I Thessalonians 5:8)
I owe everything I am and ever will be to the Lord Jesus Christ. When I was at my lowest point in my life, when I thought all hope was lost, He was there to meet me right where I was at.
